
MELINA TESTIN
Melina Testin was educated at Loyola University Chicago where she earned a BA, summa cum laude in History and a minor in Marketing from the Quinlan School of Business.

Melina's career in the museum industry includes work with the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, Pritzker Military Museum & Library, Smithsonian Institution, South Carolina Historical Society, and Society of the Cincinnati.

POW Graphic Novels was published in Chicago in 2022 as a collaboration with the Pritzker Military Museum & Library and Loyola University Chicago. Melina's second graphic novel, Drawn to Freedom was published in Charleston in 2025 by the South Carolina Historical Society, where Melina works as the Education Coordinator.

With a decade of experience in digital illustration, traditional artwork, mural painting, museum education, historical research, exhibit design, creative writing, and public speaking, Melina is open to freelance work and employment, including remote work and work outside of Charleston.
